Wii U Release Date/Price

Well, it's official. I probably won't get Wii U anytime soon. Just too much out of the wallet and it's not possible in my current situation. Pretty sad, but I have to live with what I got. However, just click the following links about the price and release date. I would think it'll be a little lower, but jumping around $300-$350 sounds reasonable. Nevertheless, I'm not planning on getting it around it's release year or after. Hopefully I'll have enough money around the time that possible new Zelda comes out. I hope I won't be too late for that. But we'll see.

Taking a Break

I'm going to take a break on League of Legends for a bit. Probably play it once in a while so my rating don't deteriorate. I'm not too good, but hopefully I won't be failing my rating and going to elo hell. Speaking of hell, I'll probably be playing TF2 once in a while. I still don't like this game, but there are going to be times were I'm going to have bad WoW days and I need some venting. So venting on a poor-quality game like TF2 will suffice. And speaking of WoW, I will be playing World of Warcraft again for a while. Hopefully longer if it permits me. If you want to see more posts about it, just go here for my WoW blog. And just to show that I'm not only into PC gaming, have some Tales of Graces videos:

Spies Are Broken

Every time I use one, I die the moment they look at me funny. Yet every time someone else uses a Spy, they get me in the most impossible ways. I just remember this Spy was literally stabbing in the front of me as a Medic with full health and died every time. Heck, I don't believe the knife is that strong to kill me in one go. Not to mention there was no critical buff on him or anything. Just slash and go like a hacker. Jeez, no wonder why I hate this game. Just lame moments were they can kill anyone like butter.

LoL: First Defeated Ranked Match

First time jungling in rank match and it was fail on selection screen. Naut/Darius/Morgana/Shen/Shaco/Kass was banned, but seem like it didn't matter. Not to mention our Viegar started getting countered by Ryze extremely hard (had to start ganking him 24/7 since he was just too much on Viegar to the point of slowly getting fed). Riven gave up on top and bot was slowly getting ganked out too hard thanks to Viegar feeding. This is why I tend to play mid often because someone is just going to fail mid and it all spirals down into the crapper. Maybe we still would've lost, but jungling isn't my thing and Shyvana takes a while to lay down damage on certain champions. Oh well, better luck next week.

What Is Wrong With This Mode!?

Seem like I can't get into any games for MvM. Every time I pop one open, I get these stupid messages as to why I can't join in (bad password, bad connection, "bad game"; ok, I give that last one some credit). So I have to re-join the 30-45 minutes of searching for another game. And I thought WoW was bad at this, but this game blows it out of the water for waiting times. Not to mention at least I had something to do. I'm just sitting at my computer doing nothing productive while it's wasting time for another excuse as to why I can't join in. This game sure can scam my time away without even trying.

Also, the bad games I get into makes all those bad LoL matches I had a good feeling. Valve really screw up this mode a lot.

This Mode Is So Fail...

Right now, it takes up to 40+ minutes just to get into any MvM game. Not to mention I don't have 5 friends willing to play this at the same time, so playing this mode is probably improbable right now. Even with the join game in progress checked, it's still not letting me in. Released on the first day and it's already failing. What's worse is that you have to buy tickets to use just to get anything noteworthy of your success. Valve sure know how to disappoint.

By the way, if you're having trouble getting to download in the first place, just change your downloading region to another country. It'll go by a lot faster.

I Still Don't Like This Game (You Know What This Is)...

...And I'm still playing it! I don't get it. I really despise this game like the plague, but I just keep coming back to it like it's my last salvation. I don't know what to do at this rate. However, this lackluster game isn't giving me items after disconnect for some reason. I use to get a lot of them after leaving a server, but now it's barely or once a moon. Seems like after I'm getting use to the game, it starts to bite back at me. I still hate it though.

Shooters In General Is Slowly Dying of Creativity...

I know Team Fortress 2 is crap, but sadly it's one of the better shooters out there (again, not saying it with high praise since I still hate this game). Seems like the only good shooters were the old ones, like Halo (where it set the bar for shooter games and not many has passed it; and maybe Halo 2 due to online function help made online shooters more popular), Unreal Tournament, Counterstrike, Doom, and a few others.

Nevertheless, the point here is that today shooters are barely different from each other. Some shooters (like Call of Duty series) are pumping out sequels without a second thought (and with barely any improvements). Other shooters (like Max Payne 3 & Brink) try to do something completely different, but still feel like a clone to another game. They're not good as they use to be no more. It's like all they care about now is just graphics, visuals, and realism (for some games).

What happen to the "fun" aspect for shooters? Where we can say good shot from afar or coming back from near death or saying this guy is really good. Now all I can see from it is competition to see who can call each other names the best with broken language (lucky shot "nub"; u sux; hax). This goes for any other genre with online gameplay, but it's most potent with shooters. No wonder why most shooters today are very bland. Just seems like any shooter touched by the Internet will be gutted like a poor, baby sea lion wanted to go back to his mother. The same stuff with nothing new and rude people to ensure it's the same.

LoL So Far...

Not too bad actually. Slowly doing ranked games. My first game was lucky since I was Anivia and going mid against a Veigar would mean a free lane for him. Fortunately, that only happen in a normal game (that Veigar blew me out of the water) while I won mid and the game for the ranked one. Second game was with Ahri. Made a lot more mistakes with her than Anivia (go figure) but we still won the game somehow. I must say, she is one hard champion to do really good damage with. Every time I try to burst someone down while not doing so well, teammates instantly get mad at me for not doing any damage. I guess I don't have enough magic penetration or ability power. Either way, it just seem like it tickles people whenever I use her early game.

Anyhow, I have been taking a break from Leagues for a while and plan on going back up again this week. I'll still be a little bit inactive due to other things in real life, but it won't be under the radar this week.

Nope, Still Hate The Game

I tried coming back (with vanilla maps in mind). Still, the same results and me just getting even more mad. I just done with this game now. There's truly nothing people can say about changing my mind this time. I can't believe they created such an imbalance shooter like that and people still like to play it. All it does to me is just makes my days (and nights) sour. Sorry, but it's not going to happen again. I'll stick to my console gaming for shooters.

Skyward Sword

Overall, this game is still a Zelda game in my eyes. Just a few drawbacks of occasional controller issues and slightly easier than an average Zelda. Nevertheless, there were puzzles where I was stumped for a while. There was monsters and bosses that gave me some trouble (had three game overs thanks to the Imprisoned). There were new and returning items that I liked as well (a big fan of the Double Clawshot from Twilight Princess). The music and gameplay still retain that 3D Zelda feel. It's all there like a Zelda game should be. However, I really appreciate the story a bit.

It explains to us two key reasons why this series is re-occurring. However I'm not going to mention it since they're spoilers, but playing the game will answer those questions though. A little hint is that it deals with the Skyward Sword and it deals with the Imprisoned. Aside from that, anyone can learn the rest in the game. It's not too hard to find out (or Zelda Wiki if you're really that desperate). Also, Fi was ok. She was no Midna (my favorite), but that's a good thing anyway. Nothing wrong doing her own thing, thought a little weird calling Link "Master." Was a little creepy at first, but she was useful so I can't complain too much.

But yes, it's a good Zelda game. I'm not sure the top of the series, but it's pretty up there for me.

I Hate Team Fortess 2...

...But I love the spoofs that comes from this game. Just every time I play this game, it just leaves the worst taste in my mouth since I always be losing. Just been playing this crit orange server for the longest and when the game got down to the wire, we lost easily. I have been playing this map for quite some time and we just lose for some reason. I'm just getting fed up losing in this game and just uninstalling it for the last time. Heck, I think this game was the problem that my onboard sound blew out on me. So I'm just done with this game forever this time. No turning back on it this time. I'm tired and I'm thru with it. Besides, I rather deal with League of Legends than that game. It's just unbearable.

Still, the spoofs and fanfare is pretty good from it. I really do like it. Some of it makes me laugh quite hard and some are actually inspiring. Like Team Fabulous 2. I practically watch this every week at least because it's still so funny. Probably one of the weirdest spoofs ever, but it's still funny nevertheless. But the point of the matter is I just don't like playing this game anymore. The fanfare is ok, but this game just need better players because I tend to be on the horrible team every time I play now. Such a waste of time for this game.

EDITED: Yes, I tried Vanilla servers by the way, but not only they're boring, but I lose in those a lot worse than other servers. It's not just to non-Vanilla servers. Still, I'm not changing my mind on this game. I'm not going to waste space on my computer just to get fail teams practically every game. Not happening.

Objection!

I think everyone knows this guy from a couple of games, but if you don't know, this is Phoenix Wright. I recently played the Ace Attorney series of him winning cases with little to no hope of getting not guilty verdicts. The gameplay tends to be a little boring with the detective work, but it gets interesting once you're in-court and solving cases.

Except for introduction cases (the first cases for each game and the fourth case in Trial and Tribulations), Wright tries to find clues and hints as to what happen in the crime, who really did it, and why. He'll try to explain a possible truth to the court for certain cases, but may need the prosecution's interference to refine the truth. While in court, the prosecution states the crime and sends any available witnesses to the crime to give the court their testimony. Afterward, Wright cross-examines them to find contradictions. He can "Press" a part of the witness' testimony to get more information about it.

Once he finds a contradiction, he provides evidence and shouts "Objection" to the witness. In most testimonies, this works and causes the witness to be either not creditable or to slip up even more when they continue lying under oath. Even causing them to expose themselves as the true suspect of the crime. However, there are special rules to certain part of testimonies were you make a bad press or providing evidence, your life bar goes down by a lot (or instant guilty in extreme cases). So choose wisely for certain contradictions and statements.

Overall, a pretty fun game. The comedy is pretty good, the story was epic, and the gameplay wasn't too bad. Just a really fun game series I should've tried out a long time ago. But it's never too late to try it though, still a fun game.

However, there are 3 quick spoiler points I want to mention about the series:

A) Pearl is SUPER adorable.
B) Godot is OG.
C) Dahlia makes machines more human than her.

Level 30

Well, I just got up to level 30. I must say, it's been one crazy trip with the LoL community, but I'm happy to get this far. However, I'm going to keep playing normally and such. I still don't believe I'm ready to be doing any kind of ranked matches. So to cover myself from ranked mishaps, I'm not going to jump in there yet. Not to mention I don't have all of my runes yet and still have to practice more with my champions. Still a lot of work needs to be done before I take the next step.

Anyways, I'm going to try and post more often for this blog. My other blog won't retire, but it'll be less active for now. Don't worry, it's not abandon at all. By the way, Ironscale Shyvana skin is quite spicy (no pun intended).

Officially Coming Back/Few Changes

Going to get this blog up and running again. My WoW and FFXI accounts are going inactive and all I got are games that are F2P and already paid for game. Not much I can do aside from that but make videos of them and such. Hopefully I can get this blog active and such again.
