Slime Collision

Was doing a solo run for Jelly King and I was battling some jellies and slimes. Strangely enough, these two slimes were getting at it for a moment. At first, I thought they were going to kill themselves, but they were trying to fused to a bigger slime. However, I think they couldn't really fused since the smaller one was too complex for the bigger one. And this mess was resulted from it:

League of Legends

No, I'm not going to make a huge blog about it like my WoW blog. I have more devotion into that game than this one, but League of Legends (or LoL) is a pretty fun game. Right now I'm level 10, playing with my friends, and having a blast. I'm trying to work up my IP (influence points; a slowly accumulating currency for buying off-week champions) to buy a good champion, but it may take me a few more days. Everyone of the good ones are 6300 and I barely got 5000 in a few weeks. I'm not aiming to get every champion, but I would love to get the ones that I like.

Also, as much the game is fun, it does have it drawbacks. Like WoW (I'm not going to compare it heavily to WoW, but they have some similarities), you can't pause the game. However, instead of getting a debuff, leaving or "Away from Keyboard" from the game can lead up to a ban on your account. So if you're planning on being serious, make sure you have a lot of time on your hands and take your time to learn the rules and such. People at lower levels tend to be a lot rude if you're just starting with the game. But it's a lot easier to ignore them and play the game. Still, you're going to meet a lot of them.

Still, this game is a fun RTS. If you're new to them, you'll learn pretty fast from this game. So download it when you're not busy and give it a try.

Interesting Read On A Bom-omb Movie...

I just got my latest issue from Game Informer today and there was an interesting read about the Super Mario Bros film that was made nearly two decades ago. It's so amazing how this film bombed in such a violent matter. An arrogant, British duo (Morton & Jankel) directing this movie with poor direction skills really bombshell the movie. They have little to no idea as to how they were going to get this movie from the ground and up and just tried too hard to make it something interesting. Nintendo didn't cared after they made the script. Although Miyamoto showed some regret of letting them do it, he wasn't too upset about it. Instead, he understands that it wasn't the best thing to happen for Mario's reputation. The film was a lot darker than it was suppose to be. At the same time, it was trying too hard of being something different.

Overall, the movie had numerous problems being patched up poorly. It's so saddening that could've been done better if they took the time to just stick with what it was instead of making it crazier than what it needs to be. If anything, they should've had made it into a movie cartoon or wait a few more years for Super Mario World for a story.

Just a large update on things...

No, this blog is long from dead. It's just a minor setback to what I'm hoping to do in the future. However, there are a couple of things that I'm thinking to do.

Going to slow down on asking for commissions: Last night made me realize that this is a hobby I can just take a break from. Not to mention I'm just not having good ideas as I use to last year. All it has been is decent to bad ideas left and right and I just not feeling it no more. So I'm just going to keep my money in the saving where it should be. Sure, I'll think about a few commissions here and there, but I'm thinking about reducing it to low costing commissions and higher ones per two or three months. This probably means I can't do commissions past $10, while most artists pay around $15+ for just a sketch. I guess I can re-commission a good friend of mines again. She's not too expensive, but I do like her work. And I liked the idea that I do a commission with her and just wait a few months or so. I forget a bout it until she notes me about it. Then I feel tingly that it was my commission being posted. Besides, it nearly wipe me out since I don't have a job now. Which slightly brings up my next point.
National Hiring Day from McDonalds: Two weeks ago, me and my mom went to McDonalds to get something to eat. Unfortunately, that stupid sign has to show up on the second window. So I had to apply for it because my mom don't want me sitting around and do nothing. While I would love to get out of the house and actually do stuff, I just don't like some of the jobs here in my state. Just not enough to get me off my feet. I tried searching for jobs last year, but it just felt so discouraging that I can't get one. I just have a feeling that I'm going to lose stuff if I don't find one this year. I might get desperate, but I really don't like to work at McDonalds though. It's not the last places to work at, but I really don't like the atmosphere of the place. It feels so constricted and limiting to be there. But whatever, my options are tiny at this moment and I can't do anything with a low money. Man, I hate this economy.
Semester is almost over: As much that is a good thing, I'm actually failing one class. Unlike my Composition class, Algebra & Trigonometry is just mind-bending to the point of just giving up. I don't mind the challenge, but this stuff makes me give up quicker than PvP moments in WoW. Some problems are just mind-gutting and brain spattering. And it just upsets me to no end that I'm just failing due to these impossible tests. But of course, that's because I wasn't studying. Usually I don't study for classes because they're not that hard without study. And back in the day, math classes weren't that hard as long you know the concept. But this class, forget to study is like forget to breath. You can't do that or you'll die. In this case, you don't study, you're guarantee to fail tests. So, I'm going to take that in the summer and hopefully won't have to retake it fall. If I fail again, not only my mom will get rid of Internet access for me, but the class will change books as well. So it'll be even more harder if I do fail again. This school is so lame for doing that. However, I am passing my other classes and had to withdraw one because I was stressing over that stupid class.
Spring Break is near: This will get me on task of doing extra stuff next week. Starting from the 22nd, I'll have no classes. However, this allows me to catch up on anything I need to do. I'm planning on doing a test for another class next week since I just want to pass it and worry about other stuff. Also, I might try to make that Metroid Fusion walkthrough I have been trying to do. It's really the conversion process that take the toll for it. Too much changing this and that to make it loadable to YouTube. However, I'll try to work it after Tuesday to check and see any problems. But of course, I might WoW a lot on that week, so expect the delays.

And there is my current situation so far. If you have any comments about it, feel free to post. But aside from that, it's what's happening to me lately.

I said that I would be uploading Metroid video, but instead I started to play Metroid Prime. I'm sorry, that game is just fun and I'm almost done with it. Just getting the artifacts and going to Impact Crater is the only thing I need to do. Still, that game is pretty fun and brings back so many memories. But it'll be a moment before I upload the new one since I'm trying to come back to WoW. Of course, I have a blog for that, so you can check out the blog for that here. It's slow right now, but Ren's Blade will be brandished more often.

Another Pokemon Talk

Well, I finish the story line for Pokemon White (a first timer for me) and I noticed the level to the new levels shot up like a rocket. All my Pokemon that I defeated N and his power hungry "father" were like more than 10 levels below the new levels. For a moment there, I thought my head would explode and never level up any of my Pokemon. Fortunately, there was good news.

The Pokemon that are in the 60s don't hit as hard since they're not properly trained to kill me. So that just means free expereince with my Pokemon. And there's this one Pokemon that gives you a chunk of experience, which is an Audino. This Pokemon usually comes out where there is a patch of grass constantly shaking in the wild. However, it's not always 100% that a Audino will pop out and (in some cases) a really rare Pokemon might come out instead. And usually, it's like level 47 or 50 when it pops. So it's ideal to search for "higher levels" since there's a higher chance of getting more. And the funny part about this Pokemon is that it's more of a healing Pokemon. So don't be afraid if it gets the first move because it'll never attack. In some cases, it might heal your Pokemon. So hunt them down regardless of your level (yes, they appear in lower levels as well, even if you didn't beat the game yet). I'll probably write more about them later on.

Anyways, I'm really like this game. Unlike the previous generations, this one went interesting and made becoming Pokemon Champion more like an actual challenge than part of the storyline (which was ok, but something new was in order and you didn't fought the Champion for the first time; N defeated him and left him for...fainting). Also, there is a lot of content still left to be explored and some Pokemon needing to be captured (649 if I'm not mistaken). Not to mention I sold my Pokemon Pearl, so it's going to take a while. Still, I like it and I hope I'll enjoy it more.

Sorry about the recent inactivity. Was doing school work and playing Pokemon, but I'm planning on getting this Metroid video up either tonight or tomorrow. However, I'm still trying to find a job and everything. It's just been annoying doing nothing at home and wasting away time and such. Man, the day I get a job is the day I'll be free from oppression. It's just not fun like it use to be anymore. I'm tired of feeling broke and my mom nagging me to death. I'm not saying plant me any job that's in my way, but something I'll jump in without little to no trouble. I guess I have to keep searching, but I feel like time is just running out for me. I don't know when, but its quickly running out, that's for sure.

But yeah, stay tuned for other stuff.

Pokemon!

Yeah, I jump back into the craze again and already got my first badge. I notice it feels a little difficult than the usual when it comes to starting. For the first time though, I was surprised to fight two trainers (or friendly rivals) while obtaining my first Pokemon. Probably in the next one where they're going to have me fight like six people before coming out of the starting town. Anyway, I'm enjoying my little Samnophis (Snivy) doing some damage and such. I always love Grass-type Pokemon, but I might have to rely on other Pokemon for some reason. Some Pokemon, like Lillipup, they level up a little faster than normal. So I just gotta keep going until I'm Champ again (this will be my [and many other] 5th run in this series).

Also, my birthday passed on the 11th. So I'm now 21. I don't feel any different and I still need to find a job. I'm searching as always, but it's still a tricky to land one. But the common thing for it is to keep looking. Man, I want money so bad now, it's not even funny. Of course, I'm not going to go steal money or anything. That's not how I do things. I work for it even if I have to break a limb for it. Not to mention, I'll upload another Metroid Fusion video by the end of this week. I just been busy with other stuff, but I should be able to submit one in regardless. I'll post later about the Japan crisis tomorrow though since my head hurts now. But I heard sad stories happening there. I hope they'll make it through their ordeals with nature.

Busy Week Ahead...

Well, this week is going to be a little bit hectic. Have like 4 tests to do in total, job hunting and a lot of studying. Real life is going to hit me hard, so it's going to be a while trying to fix this compression problem with my walkthrough. Also, I might try to do some signature works since I want to make more signatures of characters I like or heard of a lot. Of course, most of them don't belong to me, so I have no copyrights or anything of them.

However, I might retract on the compression part. As we speak, I think I just found the solution. I just had to lessen the quality the bit and the sound fits nicely well with the video. Problem is though, it's going to be (like I said) less in quality. So it won't be too colorful like the previous videos, but I will try to find a sweet spot in the compression process. But regardless though, expect part 3 to be uploaded today. I will finish this walk-through.

It Touch Me Wrong

No, I don't mean someone who touched me in a bad place where they're not supposed to. I was talking about this 64GB 4th (might be 3rd since I saw the software making it third) iPod Touch my mom gave to me. There was a few problems with it that drove me crazy throughout this week:

Trying to sync it with another computer will not show my songs and videos - This one was a big one because it only works on my mom's computer. Every time I try to upload songs from my computer (by re-syncing it to my iTunes), there will be no songs. I did many tricks from many pages from Google Search and nothing worked. Even the "language change" and "play from the iPod via iTunes" tricks didn't work either. If I restore it, it can only be restored on my mom's computer. And every option (such as automatically and manually) hasn't worked either. So the only thing I could do is get a different music player other than iTunes and use it to sync. I'm not sure if it works with iTunes now, but MediaMonkey is very useful so far. Now, I just need to work on getting videos in and I'll be gold.

Some of the pictures are weirdly shown within my Photo app - Yeah, there's this strange bug where all my pictures are just everywhere and not working at all. I don't know why it's doing this, but I'm not liking some of my pictures look like they've been minced to death. However, when I put a few pictures in there, it comes out perfect. I guess it's the amount of pictures that are in the album that makes it weird like that. I'll check that out more if that's the case.

But yeah, these are just some of the problem with this iPod Touch. I think my mom "probably" drop it a few times, but it works perfectly like in the sense that it can play and everything. I just wouldn't look at it like the only reason why it's behaving like this. If I was to switch my smaller iPod to another library, it will work. This Touch however, will not.

Need More Paper...

Yesterday, my friend came by and flex himself at me because he became 21 a couple of weeks ago. Weirdly, he gave me his Paper Mario cartidge for the N64 since he got it for the Virtual Console on the Wii. So I get to enjoy the classic for free on my old yet working N64 system. However, he let me borrow the sequel for it, the Thousand Year Door. I think I liked that game the most out of the whole series like Melee. Like Brawl, the third wasn't all up to spunk. Sure had some good bits here and there, but it wasn't entirely fun for me. Unlike Brawl, however, Paper Mario has a good story, so it kept me interested.

But tonight, I just going back and getting the third star and probably be getting the next one tomorrow, depending on my real life schedule. Man, there's so much about that game that I miss, to the point that I forgot everything. Heck, I actually felt a little dumb for some part of the games that was pretty obvious.

It's like WoW made me dumber as the years go by. I'm probably just not going to play that game no more. I was quite the player when I played single player games, but now I'm just complete trash thanks to WoW. Not to mention the pay with commissions and other stuff, it just made my money go down the gutter. Hopefully people will look to this site and help me get up a bit. I'm not asking for much, but I can assure you that I'm going to carefully moderate my money because I need to pass this stupid, minimum limit on my savings account soon.

Also, the Metroid project is still going. I'm planning on uploading some more onto Youtube this week, so check it out soon. Also, I'll blog post about it later this week, so you'll know for sure.

Just To Update Myself...

I'm officially slowing down on WoW. I'm not going too much or I'll just repeat what I did 2008-2009. I think it's best for me to move on and let nothing distract me too much from my homework and other projects. Once the semester is done, then I might come back to retail, assuming my money is in good shape. Probably won't do it since I have other games, but it's addictive and costs a lot of money if I don't watch my commission buying.

Also, I'm still trying to find a way as to how to fix my recordings. However, I still won't work since when I record it too long, it de-syncs around 6 mins and it's messed up again. So, I probably have to reset my run for the 4th time in this month and try to time my recordings better. Not exactly five-six minutes, but around it.

For sure I thought Metroid would be pretty easy to record, but it's harder than I imagine. If it doesn't work for me this time, then I'm forced to make it silent and just make captions to make it interesting. But I got it this time. Not to mention if this doesn't work, I'll just go back to F-Zero and start getting those recordings up (yeah, they're already recorded and everything, they just needed to be either edited with my crap music or just uploaded without the music).

Also, I'm probably going to talk about Other M in the next blog post. Not that I'm going to say negative things about it, but there's something I wanted to say to get it out of my head. But regardless though, I'm going to try really hard to get a video up this weekend. I promise.

Some Delays

Yeah, as much I'm going to make a walkthrough, school and job-hunting is going to be at a higher priority. So I won't upload every video clip instantly. However, the good thing is that I got two down so far. So you can see it yourself above. It features the first part of Samus' mission inside the BSL space station. I'll add more in the future, but hopefully, it won't take too long to get them all up.

Making A Metroid Fusion Walkthrough

I had an F-Zero Time Trial runs going through, but I think they were a little boring. What' I'm planning on doing now is getting a Metroid Fusion walkthrough (or at least a run) going so I can poke some people that played the game and whatnot. Not to mention it was one of my favorite games before playing Super Metroid and Zero Mission (maybe the next one, but I don't hold promises so well). Hopefully, I'll get part one uploaded this week or maybe tonight. Just stay tuned.

Going To Take A WoW Break Again...

Haven't taken one in a while, and what's worse is that I'm going to have a hard time with this semester. Algebra and Trig is not pulling any punches back and other classes are slapping me with work, so I'm going to work extra hard getting those done. It's not going to be fun, but better than not using my computer when I'm failing classes like two years ago.

On the side note, seem like revenue is getting smaller each week. So I'm trying to find ways to getting back up again. Slowly, but better than being lower than $100. Hopefully, I won't run into the wrong site that might do the opposite for my goal. Anyway, just posting this up because I'm still alive and I'm planning on posting here more. There will be more to come. I'm sure of it.

The Sundering So Far...

I gotta say, it's pretty good so far. I'm loving a lot of the new features they have out, like the new races, new zones (refurbished and/or new) and dungeons (wipe on a few, but first time isn't always 100% wipeless), and much more. I got my warrior up to 85 since she was my first toon ever, but I feel a little clunky and weak due to the gear problem. Hopefully, it'll balance out in the future.

For my life, all I'm really worry about now is looking for a job. I finally past my first fall semester and going to try finish things up in the spring. It should be right around the corner with my degree because I'm tired of being at this school. Surely I'll get a good job in the future. I know I can, but I just gotta keep working for it by doing lower stuff at the moment.

PvP Issues

I beginning to hate my warrior more and more as the days go by. I just don't know what to do with this stupid character now. It just seems like everyone is just getting too OP for her to take them down. Maybe I'm just not playing my class right, but I don't know. It's killing me inside that she can't kill rogues or low gear people like it's nothing. I'm slightly getting fed up with this pathetic draenei. If I can't improve her to take people down more often, then I'm just going to delete her off.

What's Happening So Far...

Well, I'm slowing down on commissions and hopefully will stop after this month. It's getting to the point that I have nearly no money left in my savings. Yes, that also means that I still without a job and everything. I really want one as of right now since my Session 2 class just ended yesterday. I know how one artist feels that she can't find a job, but I'll keep trying to find one. Hopefully, I'll be able to get a decent job before I'm 21. Otherwise, I'm going to have problems.

On the bright side, many things happen during these couples of weeks. For starters (and obviously), WoW released patch 4.0.1 to our live realms. Of course though, this means that my Arms/Fury Warrior and Feral Druid is not going to benefit from ArP because it's now extinct. However, my warrior is more unfortunate than my druid since I forgot to change her gemming to Strength. Now, she is sitting with crit gems and no honor points. Feels like I should just not play with her until "The Shattering".

Now, they want us to mindlessly stack on a new stat call Mastery. It's pretty simple stat. After training it at 75, the stat will show up on the summaries of one of the talent trees the player chosen (we'll use my warrior as an example). If I specc into Arms while having Mastery, I'll get a mastery talent known as Strikes of Opportunity. This mastery talent causes me to have a 16% chance to attack my target a second time at 75% weapon damage. It's bascially an Sword Specialization but better. As each point of mastery (1 point equals around 46 rating) increases the chance by 2%. So that means:

16% + (2*MP/100) = New percentage for SoO

Example:

16% + (2*14/100) = 16% + 28% = 44%

Funny enough, with that example, warriors might become broken. Fortunately though, this is only at level 80. So it scales smaller. When players hit 85, however, the scaling will immensely increase. So I wouldn't be surprised if I'm sitting at 44% now and only at 18% when I hit 85 for the first time. Only time will tell, but we'll only know after Cataclysm comes in.

Speaking of the expansion, the cinematic video of it was released a few days ago. You can check it by clicking here. Gotta say though, that is one pissed off Dragon Aspect. And he'll be coming to Azeroth near December 7 (no joke, the release date of Cataclysm is that).

I have been seeing her around with the late SonicDash, who took a break from artwork altogether and won't be planning on coming back so soon. Summer Is Almost Over...

Yeah, it's that time of the year again to go back to school. I might not be able to use my good computer since my mom thinks its the distraction to my work (which is just WoW actually, but older women don't understand me anyway). So most likely my activity will drop like the timing of these blog posts. But don't worry, I'll still be around and such. Just not as crazy as I use to before.

On the side note, I'm a little confused as to which game purchase I should make. Should I wait Cataclysm for WoW, buy the Other M for the Wii, buy Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the Wii, or get Birth by Sleep for the PSP? Too many choices, but the fact that Cataclysm doesn't have a set date yet while SMG2 already came out and it's kinda of the same game with more stuff in it. So I'm a little split between Other M and Birth By Sleep. The problems I have if I get Other M is that I won't be able to play it very often since I'll be in school. With Birth By Sleep, I can play it on the go. However, I'm afraid that I might play Birth By Sleep a little too fast, in which it'll end the game quicker. I don't know what to pick out of these four, but it might be Cataclysm. We'll see though.

Lots of Stuff

But I'm just going to say them in a quick manner:

-I finally passed Composition. Such a pain in the rear class, but I finally passed it. Wasn't a successful score, but I did well on my speech to pass the class, so I'm happy on that. And now, I'm going to do Technical Communication & Writing. Going ok so far. Got my first assignment in and the score was ok. Better than a 0 or the lowest passing grade. Here's hoping my second assignment will pull through as well.

-My money reserves is getting to the point that I can't spend so much on commissions no more. However, I like to thank Mel, Shelly, jskellington, and more for the commission pictures. Until I get a job, I'm going to slow up on them. Thanks for the cookies.

-Speaking of jobs, I got a mail from a company that may hook me up with one. I'm not sure if I'll get it or not, but hopefully I do so I can continue commissioning people. Been job hunting lately and no luck so far. So here's hoping I get an answer.

-Getting Kirby Superstar Ultra probably around Tuesday or Wednesday. Hopefully it'll be on Tuesday or early Wednesday because my mom doesn't know about this game coming into the mail. Well, I'll think of something if that's the cast.

-Had a crappy last week with my main on retail doing bad. However, as soon as my druid hit 80, things changed for the better. Got a new blade for my warrior that's better than my axe (and a tanking helm on the same raid boss since they had no warrior). Gearing my druid really fast is also a plus, but it doesn't come without it hiccups (higher geared people lol'ing at your DPS, poor gear people pulling, etc).

Wonky Spring Break Is Wonky!

Well, I'm enjoy my Spring Break with WoW on my time. Of course, I'll get to my homework eventually. Anyway, when I first came back to retail, I was completely free-honor/money-wasting draenei as usual. Trying to kill something, but usually see her dead like this:

Feels like I have joined the wrong server/battlegroup. Well hopefully when me and my friend play it, it'll be a whole lot better than this genocide battlegroup of the Alliance. Anyway, I'm currently working up for a Artisan Flying, which will make me join the cool kids with their uber flying drakes. Also, the highest I got killed for was around 11k. Back From The Grave...

Hey guys. My birthday passed earlier this month (March 11), so I am now in the 20s reaching to true adulthood. However, things have gotten crazy for the earlier part of this month. My computer crashed because the hard drive was just getting too old. Fortunately, I got it back before things gotten worse. Also, I'm trying to slow down on playing Tru-WoW and go back to retail. This artist I know really needs some peeps for raiding, but I'm not sure if I'm able to do that until I'm on. Trying to pass English again and things seems like it's turning for the worst. Oh well, just can't jump the boat now. I can't turn back this time or it'll be my last shot. I'll be back later for something else to tell, but I have to go to class now.

Well, It's That Time Of The Year Again!

Valentine's Day! Yay! Ok seriously, I'm not a big fan of this day since I'm a single person. However, I'm actually joyful this year because I realized that its not about loving another person that isn't in your actual relation. Its about that special person that makes you happy and the same for that said person. Nothing sexual, but not just having a "relationship." It's the love that is shared among you and the one that you hold dear in your heart that matters. That's what I believe and I wouldn't mind that for quite some time. However, I feel sorry if you don't have ANY special person you know and love so much. That I can't really explain for that.

On the side note, this next week is not so loving. Thanks for the not so forgiving blizzards in the Northeast, I have three tests, a rewrite, and several assignments due at least by the end of this week. Well, that's what we get for having snow. Having unforgiving stack of work shoved upon me. Doh! But I should be able to handle it. I just need to focus and get them done as soon as possible.

In other news, I'm partial leaving Tru-WoW forums (for sources and shutdowns) since some people don't know how to do things early before it escalates to something worse. This generation of administrators with forums is just getting weird for me as the years go by. You "calm" one guy that spam like a billion things all over the forum, necroposts like mad and makes a fool out of himself nearly every post with a one-liner. While you get someone that's quite educated yet "lightly" trolls others in a reasonable fashion and gets banned a couple of months down the road. Just really weird people lately. Oh well, I'm not much of a moderator, but I know experience from forums like that and its usually poor professionalism at best. I'm not bragging, but I'm not impressed either.

Anyway, lucky lovers, enjoy your partners. Single people, continue doing what you do best and love that special person that got you there. REALLY single people...uh just keep going because you'll find one eventually.

Whew, A Busy Week Ahead!

Yep, have homework/essays/readings to catch up upon, that it's going to be a silly week indeed. Also, I'll try not to get on WoW too much this week since a lot of work is due. However, I'll try to get some artwork done for dA and FA. If I can get some work done from school quicker, I'll be able to play with that first. I know this is short, but I need to go. I know I'm grounded from playing video games (still play them, but not too much like I use to), no TV (pfft, like that made me fail), and even have my door open out where the world can see it, but I guess she forgot to mention I can't look at any content that deals with video games either. Sure, I don't mind her idea of treating me like a kid, but I'm not as ignorant like one that for sure. And I know for a fact she didn't even mention anything about "reading words dealing with video games."

Hell, and she thinks me getting a job would be nice. Of course, but I don't think I can balance job with 5 classes that are decently heavy in content. At this point, she's practically screwing me over with everything. I want to get a life, but now she's just straight up rushing me out of the door, waiting for me to slip along the way. I can't get a good one if I'm not getting some decent education in at the least.

It's slowly becoming of treating me like a sibling to someone's shit, and I'm getting fed up with this!

Sorry, I'm just ranting because my mom just do stupid things to rile my emotions. I know she's sick and everything, but she seems like she making it an excuse to attack me like this. It's just so retard. I'll post something else later on. Hopefully, I'll sig tag some things (if I'm "able to" that is).

Happy New Years + Resolutions

Hey everybody! I hope you enjoy your Christmas and New Years. I know I have, but there are somethings this year that I need to do to be a little more successful in life. First and foremost, I need to stop playing WoW for now. I have been deeply playing this game for a year and all it cause is nothing but trouble with my personal life. I'm just going to take a good break from it for now and see if I'm able to control myself when I start playing it again. But after tomorrow, no more killing gay, blood elves, no more raids and instances, no more WoW. Heck, I might go on a hiatus even when I can play it again. But nevertheless, no more WoW. None!

Second is to get more active on my online stuff that I have been neglecting. I need to serious sig-tag some more art and I'm aim for 60 sigs this year. I pass last year with around 20+ sigs or so with a few colorings and other art. Need to get the ball rolling and also have my story going along as well.

Finally, getting a job. Since early July, the school that I went to cut me off from my federal work study. So here's hoping that I'm able to get another job somewhere and get pay good or better than last time.

That's practically it. Starting tomorrow (or when I wake up again), it's going to be a lot more different. I'm going to focus on other things other than WoW for once and get things done.

Update About My Situation

Well, I can play WoW, but secretly and during the night time so my family doesn't notice it. It was easy to figure out why the computer was slow. Yahoo Messenger and a program for this built-in camera was taking a lot of the CPU usage percentage. So, I end those processes and it shot down less than 10%. So now I can play games again, but I'm only going to play some of my handheld games. Nevertheless, I'm not going to be playing it too much in which it could get me caught if I'm not careful. More so, the door is left to be open, so I really have to be careful with these girls running left and right through my door.

On the side note, I'm planning on making some signatures in since I'm a little bored and wants some creativity let out. I'll also be on some boards that I made quite an absence from. Also, I was browsing Newgrounds yesterday and it was quite a surprise that Alvin made an 8th episode of the Super Mario Bros Z series. As usually, he doesn't disappoint and does a real nice job on the face expressions. However, I find this funny about SMBZ.

I made a AMV about it a while ago, which was called SMBZ's Brave New World. I'm surprised that it's about 18k views in these past 2+ years. I guess I should make a sequel AMV for it, but I'm not sure which song to pick out. More so getting the videos for it again since the original files are in my rig (which is taken if you read the previous post). Oh well, I guess I can try to start over again. Just need to find a good video converter and I should be able to start making music videos again.

Then again, I have been watching the series Bleach and notice some good songs from there lately. Especially the opening and ending for season 9. Sounds pretty good. Oh well, I'm bored, Christmas is coming soon, I could shoot to touch retail WoW again, making some sigs and videos, and many more things are up for grabs. Omega is been shot, but he's certainly not out. Next year, I'll make a difference and it will be for the greater good for my future! I will bring:

JUSTICE!!!

I Knew This Was Coming...

Well, I wasn't surprised, but I'm grounded again. This time, no games (including WoW) and no TV (I barely use it anyway and unless with others; once again, like I would care) until next semester ends (which is in May). I guess by then, I'll be able to learn how to control my time with WoW. Well, I can try to survive the urges from the game. Since that was my main enjoyment and is easily taken away, it's going to feel weird not playing it. More so since the new patch came a while ago.

But, I can't do much about it and try to get my stuff back together again since my computer rig was taken and traded for a slow laptop (so I won't be able to play WoW at all). I can still watch videos and do pictures, but I'm going to need some stuff back to get back into sig making. But hey, that means more blog time. Yay! So I guess this is for the better anyway. I'll keep you updated as soon as I can.

Tainted Boredom

This is my Death Knight, Meshela. Obviously the name derives from my main warrior name Alehs. My DK for right now is lvl 59 and nearly ready for Outland. However, I'm planning on getting my warrior up to that level before even considering about leveling my DK to 80. Nevertheless, getting to 80 is my goal and I need to get there ASAP.

On the side note, something bad happen yesterday. Someone threw eggs at my brother and sister's car. Although my brother is overseas for several years while the car is broken, I was quite upset that someone would randomly vandalize his car like that. I sense I know who is at work here, but we're going to set-up cameras for the no lives that did that.

Lastly, I'm going to make a signature this week. Not sure what it'll be, but it would be a nice change for once aside from WoW.

I Need To Post Moar

I hate playing something to the point I forget everything. I should lay low on games such as that. Sadly enough, now I'm touching retail for WoW. Wasn't going to go that far, but this game is quite addicting. However, I'm not going to pay it monthly. I'll pay it when I want to play it is what I'm planning. Also, it's a high chance that I'll be a Death Knight, but it won't be my main though.

Anyways, these few weeks back have several to me but let me list them out:

-I watched Wall-E and that movie is very romantic in such a robotical way

-Never marry a person that has a former love that does not clean himself/herself, because you'll most likely be cleaning up their house that they never, and I mean never, take care of. More so, if they have children growing up to be like that.

-Apparently, if you want to make life harder for youself (like having more children that my stepfather's daugher did and with a unwilling father to take care of them), don't bring others into the picture unless you're 100% willing to get help. Otherwise you're wasting everybody time.

-Tru-WoW has easier mobs and harder PvP'ing, but Retail WoW has OP mobs and noobish PvPers with OP items. May sound easy to kill people on retail, but you better think again.

-I like Peanut Butter Cookies.

Ok, that aside, I haven't been doing much of anything but WoW, but I'm hopefully going to calm down on that game since I have school work and such. Nevertheless, I'll try...

The G20 summit has caught interest for me. It's strange that protesters are there for a unreasonable cause. I don't see the worth of it all to riot in the streets when the powerful leaders of the world are trying to fix people like them from failing in life. I just don't see it why they should be there in the first place. I guess I'm just as blind as them as to why they're doing it. Oh well...

Well now, I'm going to try to sig when I get home again. It's been a while and I need some submissions in for dA. I have been on a record low for March, which isn't good.

St Patrick Kick Me Down, But I'm Not Out Yet!

Well, a lot of things happen during these past couple of weeks. A major one that's beneficial is getting a job. It's not a perfect job, but this job has some flexible hours and I'm making money. The money will most likely be used for college but we'll see how I use it. Also, I have an interesting story to tell about it as well. And it happened just yesterday too.

About the story about my job, let me tell you that's it's quite silly of what happen. I'll hide the identities with letters due to the names being confidential. But here it goes. I was doing paperwork to mail off in the morning and answering calls to people. The latest call I had was from staff member "A" in the building. I answered it and "A" wanted to talk to staff member "B" in the door to the left of me. Although the phone had transfer capabilities, this phone had a lot of difficulties needed to be fixed. So I told "A" to hold on a moment, put the phone down and asked for "B" in a room to the left of me. Then, "B" got up from the chair and answer my phone. "B" finish talking with "A" and hang up the phone. Then, "B" told me that I need to learn to transfer more. So, I understand and waited for "B" to teach me after doing something in the office. However, it went confusing afterward.

Instead of teaching me, "B" told me to not touch the phone at all until my boss gets here. So "B" went to comment about it to "C "and "D "near the front of the entire office. Soon, "C" ask me to come here and they both told me that "A" on the phone was grouchy of my performance (which wasn't bad at all). The reason was very, very, very weird. They said that "A" heard music around me and thought I was being disruptive. First of all, when I work, I usually keep my iPod/PSP turn off and hid in my pocket. Second of all, my new earphones I got are sound-trapping to the ear. So your hearing is as sharp as a dog on the other end of the phone to even hear it at all. And lastly, there was no music in the background to begin with. I understand if the call was a couple of days ago because we had music on in the office back then. But not a single tune was ringed in that office on that day.

"C" and "D" mention that "A" probably have hearing problems and not used to be on hold, so I probably won't blame "A" for it. Still, nearly getting into trouble because of something that was heard but wasn't even on is quite strange to me. "A" must be a bat or something. Anyway, my boss came in. Told "B" that I was trained to do phone calls and stamp it on me as the final verdict to train me properly. It's strange I know, but hopefully this will all die down once I go in again. What a crazy day.

Also, my birthday passed recently on the 11th. I'm now 19 years old and it's only a matter of time until I get balls to become solo in the world (well, partially). Hopefully, I'll get a good paying job by then and get an apartment. Wish me luck on that one. And that's it for today. I'm just going to be busy on my school computer with things and go to class. The Passing...

Well, it had been a couple of weeks since I posted anything. But let's talk a little bit of sad news. On January 31 of this year, my brother call my sisters on the phone and told them that my grandmother from Georgia died (I forgot how, but she wasn't doing good back in December of last year). So last week, we had to go to a funeral to see her one last time before she's six feet under. I loved my grandmother. I wished I had more memories of her because she was such a sweet lady back when I was a kid. All I remember of her is when she was just sitting on the bed watching soaps. However, it was quite surprising though that a picture back in the day show that one of my uncle looked just like me as of right now. Maybe that was a sign that she really loved me back as a grandson. I'll respect that...

...Well aside from the bad news, good news are abound. For starters, I just got subscribe to dA a few hours ago. Just notices that there are no ads and I can show my work in a simpler fashion with SitBack feature. Hopefully, I'll get all the stamps I want in there and have a good CSS sheet out. And March will probably make it even better. Lastly, I'll try to fix that bar to the right of this post to show my stuff in there instead of random works.

I'm guessing I'm turning back to normal now due to more stuff coming my way, but I'll just keep my head up high and press forward.

The Dream...Is It Real?

Well, I had a interesting dream today. I was walking around the hospital with a friend of mines and he would shout out weird things in the hospital (I guess that deals with Gears because I remember Cole shouting out something while Fenix and Dom were in a tight situation). Soon, he went somewhere and I went to the elevator to deliver something. The first janitor came down and I notices the elevator acts weirdly.

As soon as the second janitor appeared at the door, I came in and found some quarters on the floor. Ironically I didn't pick them up and pretend that they're not there. Then the janitor told me that the elevator acts weird, so I hear him that you have to press the button in a sequence. Soon, his floor came out, but the elevator was calmly dismantling itself.

I wasn't scared but more into the thought of where to go when it was collapsing. So I went down the mis-shift stairs that the elevator made and hang on to a pole. The janitor above gave me a blanket that reminds me of my Raiders blanket that I sleep with. Then I look left and saw something interesting.

Weirdly, a lady (she kind look like the living version of the ghost girl from that one Sonic movie) was chain up to the side of the elevator system while above a large statue. I didn't know what it was glowing in a statue's mouth, but I didn't care at the moment. So with my willpower, I use the blanket and sling my way to the lady to undo her change.

Then a crazy looking wolf tries to attacks us, but this Sesshomaru-like person guarded one of his attacks and got something from the statue's mouth. It look like a glowing dog head and had a cannon coming out of it's mouth. So he shot at the wolf and he got damaged badly. Then he disappear in thin air. Soon I hear shouting that goes by the name "Man."

Strangely, I got out of bed and went to put on some shoes real quick. They didn't fit me, but I wore them just for the sake of it. I ran out the door and see a large truck dumping trash from a black bin. Soon, I open the garage door and got a big, black bin from the garage and ran blindly into the rising sun.

The black man in a glow suit came to me and taken the bin out from me and the truck taken out the stuff from it. Then, the bin was given back to me and I said thank you to the guy. He said "No problem." and left for more bins. Soon, I look at the sun and I turn around and walk to the house as it watched me...

So there you have it, one crazy dream and it was a good one too. I guess I should do this more often.

A Few Things That Bugs Me On The Internet

Let me tell you this. I love the Internet. I go on it nearly everyday and probably for the rest of my life. However, during the times being on the Internet, there are usual "problems" that keep stirring up in many website I go to and are pretty much repeated over and over again. And sometimes, even I'm involved with some of those situations.

1) Drama

Ah, a big one that most people are familiar with. When the Internet is taken too seriously, people will flame each other to death until reputations are destroyed, moderators using their "ban-hammers" against them, and people will most likely be shunned through the most popular parts of the World Wide Web.

This happen to me when I was on this one site dealing with anime wallpapers. I became frustrated and commented rudely upon a fellow waller. Soon, I was in a flame war with a brick wall of users and was banned easily (lucky though, the waller did the right thing and decide to report me). I can tell you right now, it's not a fun experience to have.

All I can say is, don't start or continue it. If that person flames you, just use the report button the site provides or PM a moderator. The moderators are your friend and they are the protectors of the site. You'll make their job a lot easier to do when you contact them with a problem. It's just that simple. Also, think before you start it. Do you want to lead to a bad road on the Internet? If I were you, don't dare it. It's not worth your reputation and definitely not your time. Just look at the post and if it's being rude to you, ignore it or report it. It's just that simple.

2) The lack of Edit button

This REALLY ticks me off sometimes. Let me just give you an easy example:

"Oh wow, this person's artwork is really awesome. The lighing used for the background is nicely done. The character desin looks great and the color is used perfecly. You did pretty good on this picture."

As you can tell, there are a couple of spelling mistakes (and very few grammar mistakes as well) that are easily editable in the sentence above. You can use the spell check from word processing programs or your dictionary and easily correct them. But, what happens when you post it up in a hurry? Now its up there for the whole world to see and you can't delete it. And what's even worse is that some websites don't provide you an edit button, which causes the user to be more responsible for their first impressions than ever. Not to mention it gets worse when other people have rules for a certain things (comment format to their artwork, requirements for game reviews, etc), which conflicts may occur very easily.

A good tip to say about things like this is look before you do anything. Everyone will suffer this at least one time (even myself, so don't feel brain-damaged). No exception unless you're a higher being, in which it is impossible. Just make sure you read about the major requirements as well as possible and remember it to death. That way, you won't have to suffer like me today.

3) Discussion --> Debates

It's little bit like drama, but in a sense, it's worst. I understand that some people don't agree on every single thing, but they go so far as to the point they think they Mr/Mrs Right. Usually, this only makes you look like the "smart-one" and have people gain more/less respect for you (mostly a lot less).

Not only that, (usually with me) you can look pretty silly to many people if you comment wrong. I hate that feeling and then someone corrects me badly and I just don't feel like debating at all. It's just not worth if you don't understand the situation (once again, like me).

Sometimes, people bandwagon to a certain group because its becoming a popular opinion, just like the banning of Meta-Knight in US Super Smash Bros Brawl tournaments for Smash World Forums. The pro-banners are leaping onto each other just to get the easy way out of the argument (and for the metagame) without good reasons. They make it seem like its the benefiting factor, but it could go very sour if the reasons are poor enough (in which it had been settled a few days later in the future).

Sometimes, arguments are started from exaggerated opinions and should be ignored, like X is the best Y ever. If you don't like topics or areas like those, don't join them. They're not fun, and they'll cause walls of text from many posters and it becomes an must-have-a-descriptive post topic, which most people would easily get turned off from.

I learn a lot of things on the Internet, and sometimes I suffer on certain websites. However, I still love it and all that manners is keeping an open-mind (and eyes) on the monitor.
